Client centred approach
Generally, our process is fairly straightforward. From booking confirmation until the day of the shoot, we work closely with our client to fully understand their requirements. On the day, we work hard to put our subjects at ease and often explain what we are trying to achieve. So, whilst maintaining a professional approach, we try to make the situation as relaxed as possible. If marketing and PR staff are on location at the shoot, we will maintain an open dialogue with them to make sure they are happy too. However, we don’t rely on their presence at the shoot. We find that friendly and clear communication is essential to getting the very best results.
Image processing
When the shoot is finished, we usually take the images back to the office to process and edit them. This is the part that clients don’t normally see but can often take longer than the time taken for the shoot itself. We are highly experienced and trained in the use of post-processing software to edit all of our images both in the office, and if necessary, on-location. Sometimes, this includes applying a caption and meta-data to images as well as wiring images out to all the national news picture desks. Unless requested, all our images are processed and edited before being made available as high resolution .jpeg files to our clients.
